THE PERRY CHRISTMAS CARD was created after his victory in the race for Lt. Governor of Texas. It features 2 custom photos of the State Christmas Tree outside the Texas Capitol in Austin. Its design reflects a balance of Mr. Perry’s religious conviction and his newly elected position as leader of the Texas Senate.

The front cover features a shot of the star atop the tree and a scripture from Matthew 2:10 ("When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy."). The inside offers a more secular greeting ("May your family know every joy of the season.") while the back cover provides a history of the state tree in general and the 1999 tree in particular.
